The Cypressa story starts more than half a century ago on the idyllic Mediterranean island of Cyprus.
Three brothers Yiannis, Theodosis and Loizos Katsouris started trading local produce, making a name for themselves by selling the best quality fruit, vegetables, olive oil and olives.

Spurred on by this early acclaim, they decided to expand to England in 1951. The move was a success, largely thanks to demand for the brothers’ quality produce from London’s growing Cypriot population.
Cypressa became a limited company in 1964 and now imports goods of the highest quality from around the world – all the while remaining true to its Mediterranean roots by shipping produce from Greece, Spain and France. It has expanded to supply multiples, independents shops and manufactures.
The company now combines the values of traditional continental cuisine with the cutting-edge packaging and distribution facilities in west and north London. The product range is continually expanding to meet the ever-growing demand for quality Mediterranean produce.
